Tuesday, February 19, 2013 @ 1:11 PM | 2 Comment [s] Product information: One of our best-selling Shea Butter Hand Creams is sold every three seconds around the world! Enriched with 20% Shea Butter, this super-creamy balm penetrates quickly to protect, nourish and moisturize hands. Honey, almond extracts and coconut oil are blended with Shea Butter to create this extremely effective formula. The rich texture leaves hands soft and smooth with no oily traces, and can be applied as often as needed. Considered a “beauty must-have” by many, this “life-changing” hand cream is essential for home, work and on-the-go. Review: I received this hand cream for free, because of a promotional thing L'occitane did on the dutch facebook. Every person who liked their page received a free hand cream. I went to pick the handcream up in the store and I was pleasantly surprised! The store was filled with all different type of skin products, and the store employee ensured me that everything is 100% natural, even though after peeking at some of the ingredients in products I am not sure about that story. Now on to the handcream. I am not sure what to say. I find the cream so-so, there are some problems I have with it. It is too thick. As you can see on the photo it is hard, and I have to struggle to push any cream out of the tube. The smell of the product is hard to describe. It reminds me of cheap old baby wipes. Not really pleasant at all. The handcream works fast though, in one minute it sunk into my skin. However, I am positive there are handcreams out there that are cheaper and better. Price: 7,00 euro (30ml) or 19,50 euro (150 ml) Bought at: Received for free at a l'occitane store What I love: It doesn't take long to sink into the skin Makes my hands soft What I don’t like: The weird smell Too thick, hard to get out tube Price is not worth it Will I buy this again? No, I am positive there are cheaper hand creams out there that do a better job. With much love, Meru |
